Senior Full Stack Developer- Shopify

We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Senior Full Stack Developer with a Shopify focus to lead, scale, and automate the implementation and maintenance of Shopify stores. This individual will be responsible for developing efficient workflows, optimizing multi-store management, and driving automation, ensuring seamless operations with minimal manual intervention.
This person will work closely with designers, developers, and marketers to build scalable Shopify solutions, streamline deployment processes, and optimize store performance. This role involves leading Shopify projects, defining best practices, and implementing automation strategies to scale operations effectively.
RESPONSABILITIES
- Architect, develop, and optimize scalable Shopify stores, focusing on automation and efficiency.
- Implement theme modifications, reusable templates, and scalable components using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Create scripts, tools, and workflows to streamline store deployment and management at scale.
- Improve site speed, UX/UI, and mobile responsiveness to enhance customer experience across multiple stores.
- Ensure seamless integration of third-party apps, APIs, and automation workflows to reduce repetitive manual tasks.
- Develop standardized Shopify templates, themes, and automation scripts for rapid store deployment.
- Build custom Shopify apps, APIs, and automation scripts to optimize workflows.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to deploy Shopify store updates efficiently.
- Manage Shopify Plus features, including Flow, Scripts, and multi-store architecture.
- Automate key processes like product catalog updates, inventory management, and order workflows.
- Establish bulk store setup workflows, ensuring that multiple stores can be deployed with minimal manual work.
- Define Shopify best practices and ensure all stakeholders follow structured workflows.
- Work closely with designers, developers, and marketers to enhance Shopify store performance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other Shopify specialists.
- Establish clear documentation and reusable assets to scale Shopify projects efficiently.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience working with Shopify and Shopify Plus.
- Deep expertise in scaling and automating Shopify store deployments.
- Strong knowledge of Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and API integrations.
- Experience with Shopify Plus automation tools like Flow, Scripts, and multi-store management.
- Self-driven mindset with excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines for Shopify deployments.
- Ability to build automation scripts for store management, product updates, and reporting.
- Experience integrating third-party apps, Shopify APIs, and marketing automation tools.
- Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with bulk store management tools and automation frameworks.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with Headless Commerce and Shopify Hydrogen.
- Knowledge of Salesforce, Klaviyo, and marketing automation tools.
- Familiarity with Dropshipping, Print-on-Demand, and Subscription models.
- Prior experience in a scaling startup or eCommerce agency.
- Experience with data migration and synchronization between multiple Shopify stores
